How to Forget a Wi-Fi Network on iPhone (iOS)

iOS stores Wi-Fi credentials per SSID in the encrypted system Keychain, and forgetting a network removes the credentials permanently from the device — it will prompt for the password on the next connection attempt as if it's a brand new network. The setting lives at Settings > Wi-Fi, and each visible network shows an i button that provides the Forget This Network option alongside IP address details. For networks you've connected to previously that are currently out of range (and therefore not visible in the list), they can still be found and forgotten from the same Settings > Wi-Fi screen by enabling the Show Known Networks option on iOS 17 or later.
